Return and Exchange Policy & Procedure
At Marine Part Liquidators (MPL), we want to ensure you have the right parts for your project. If you need to make a return or exchange, please follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth process.
Policy Overview

Refund Window: Products must be returned within 20 days of the purchase date to receive a refund.

Store Credit: Returns made after 20 days will be issued as store credit.

Freight Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all return freight and shipping costs.
How to Process a Return or Exchange

Request an RMA: Go to our homepage and use the "Request a Return" link to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Receive Instructions: MPL will issue your RMA number and provide the specific address for your return shipment.

Prepare the Package: Securely seal the item in its original packaging.

Label Clearly: Write the RMA number boldly and clearly on the outside of the package.

Shipping Method: All returns must be sent postage prepaid. We do not accept C.O.D. or freight-collect deliveries.

Tracking: You must use a trackable carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) to return your package.

Ship: Send the package to the address provided during the RMA process.
Refund & Inspection Details

Condition: All merchandise must be in NEW & UNUSED condition, including all original parts and pieces.

Inspection: Upon receipt and inspection, MPL will issue a full or partial refund to the original credit card used for purchase (less original shipping costs).

Processing Time: Refunds typically take 5–7 days to process. You will be notified via email within five (5) days of us receiving your return.

Non-Refundable Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order was shipped under a "Free Freight" promotion, the actual original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

Warranty Information

Manufacturer Warranty: All new products purchased from Marine Part Liquidators are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. If a product requires repair or replacement by the manufacturer, we will provide you with specific directions for that process.

No Refunds on Warranty: Refunds are not issued for warranty claims. If a product is no longer produced, MPL will work with you to find an equitable solution.
Refused Shipments & Damaged Goods

Refused Shipments: Any shipment refused at delivery will result in a 20% restocking fee. Original shipping costs will also be deducted from the refund.

Damaged During Shipping: MPL is not responsible for shipments damaged or stolen in transit. However, if you receive a damaged package:

Do not destroy the box.

Contact us immediately; damaged goods must be reported/returned within 5 days of delivery.

We will arrange for a pickup and send a replacement once the damaged item is received back at our facility.
